Bayeux

Another wide-width linens, new to the Rogers & Goffigon textile collection

At over ten feet wide, Bayeux is available in a beautiful white colorway with a touch of cream.

This open plain-weave fabric is created using a wet-spun linen yarn, giving the look of a screen.

It has a light stiffness to it which makes it especially ideal for shades or window treatments especially in situations where railroading the fabric would be the preferred way to hang the draperies and avoid seams.

Bayeux also has a tighter grid than some of our other open mesh fabrics, yielding more privacy but still letting light shine through.

An interesting and subtle aspect of this lovely fabric is that the warp yarn is thinner than the fill yarn, creating a more rectangular grid than a square.
